Alex is an industry veteran with over four years of hands on experience working in the hemp space - from CBD to fiber.
As Director Of Hemp Development at Escher Design, Inc, an architectural firm based in Dorset, Vermont, he spearheaded the development of standardized, cost-effective applications using hemp bio-composites. The firm received national attention by building the "WNDER" workshop, the first permitted hempcrete structure in Denver, Colorado.
Following this success, Alex became a founding member of the Vermont Hemp Collective - A vertically integrated CBD company, which successfully produced thousands of lbs of retail grade smokable flower in the 2019 season. This experience highlighted the need for reliable, fast and cost effective processing services for Vermont farmers.
Alex has spoken at business expos and universities all over the country about Hemp’s impact on bio-regional economics. These include UVM Extension, Rutgers University and NOCO hemp expo.
